God Loves a Cheerful Giver

 The Bible teaches that tithing and offering are acts of worship and obedience that reflect our trust in God’s provision. In Malachi 3:10, God invites us to "bring the whole tithe into the storehouse," promising to "open the windows of heaven" and pour out blessings in return. Tithing—traditionally giving ten percent of one’s income—supports the work of the church and helps care for those in need. Offerings, given freely beyond the tithe, express gratitude and generosity from the heart. Both are biblical ways we partner with God in ministry, demonstrating faithfulness and a spirit of giving. 

 The Bible calls us to be active participants in spreading the gospel to all nations, and one way we do that is through Faith Promise giving. This form of offering is a commitment made in faith—trusting God to provide the means to support global missions. In 2 Corinthians 9:7-8, Paul encourages believers to give "not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver," assuring us that God is able to supply all our needs so we can abound in every good work. A Faith Promise is not based on what we currently have, but on what we believe God will provide through His grace. It's a step of obedience and trust, fueling missionary efforts and bringing hope to unreached people around the world.
